Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has said that if Iran acquires an operational nuclear weapon, the future will be uncertain. The Gulf states are working to ensure their security. According to Arab News and Al Arabiya, in an on-stage interview during the World Policy Conference in Abu Dhabi, he said, “If Iran acquires an operational nuclear weapon, the future will be uncertain.” The failure of the nuclear agreement with Iran will bring the whole region to a critical period.Saudi Foreign Minister said that we are in a very dangerous place in the region. You can expect regional states to look at how they can ensure their own security. Speaking about the GCC, China Summit and the Arab-China Summit, he said that “the promotion of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China is incredibly important”. China is an important partner not only for Saudi Arabia, but we believe for the entire Arab world. Holding a dialogue with the world’s second largest economy is very important for us. He said that Saudi Arabia, OPEC and OPEC Plus have a consistent policy to maintain the stability of the market. Saudi Arabia was and will continue to strive for the stability of the oil market.Current oil prices are fair as well as stable. They need to be fair to both the parties who produce and buy oil and we have made this point clear to the US. Saudi Foreign Minister while answering a question regarding the relations between the kingdom and Russia, said that the relations between Riyadh and Moscow are excellent. It is on this basis that discussion is necessary. Thanks to this, Saudi Arabia has been able to successfully mediate the release of some prisoners. Regarding the crisis in the Middle East, he said that “Saudi Arabia is in favor of the establishment of an independent Palestinian state”. He further said that the first priority of Saudi Arabia’s foreign policy is the prosperity and sustainable development of the Saudi people. According to the clear road map, fundamental changes are taking place in the kingdom.
