Abu Hafs Umar Farooq Bin Khattab Adavi Qarshi (586/590 AH, Mecca – 6 November 644 AH, Madinah) Umar ibn al-Khattab is one of the ten evangelists. After the death of Abu Bakr Siddiq, on 23rd August, 634 AH,

 he assumed the office of Khilafah on 22 Jamadi Al-Thani, 13 AH. [5] This justice of Umar ibn Khattab became very famous and it became one of the reasons for naming his title Farooq.

In the ninth line of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) there are two sons of Kaab, Marah and ‘Adi. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is one of the descendants of Mara, while Hazrat Umar (ra) is one of the descendants of Uday.


Omar bin Khattab is the founder of the Hijri calendar. During his caliphate, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Syria, Iran, Khorasan, Eastern Anatolia, Southern Armenia and Sijistan were conquered and joined the Islamic State and its area was 2.5 million.

 And spread over thirty (22,51,030) square miles. 

It was during the reign of Umar ibn al-Khattab that Jerusalem was first conquered, thus bringing the entire territory of the Sassanid Empire and about one-third of the Byzantine Empire under the control of the Islamic Empire. He conquered the entire Sassanid Empire in less than two years. Proof of his genius. [7]

Your title Farooq, surname Abu Hafs, both title and surname are given by Muhammad (peace be upon him). Your lineage goes back to the ninth generation of the Holy Prophet (sws). 

In the ninth back of the Prophet (peace be upon him) there are two sons of Ka’b, Marah and Uday. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is one of the descendants of Marah, while Umar is one of the descendants of ‘Uday.

He and Quraysh used to become ambassadors in case of any national issue with any tribe and these two positions were passed down from generation to generation in the family of Uday. His mother Khatma was the daughter of Hashim bin Mughira and Mughira was such a man that when the Quraysh went to fight a tribe, the army was arranged for them. [9]


Early life

Born forty years before the age of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). He became proficient in genealogy, warfare, wrestling and oratory, especially in Shahsawari. At the same time, he also learned to read and write.

Were [10] After graduating from education, he turned his attention to earning a living. The main source of livelihood of the people in Arabia was trade, so he took up the same occupation and traveled far and wide. 

You gained great experience and benefits, your self-confidence was the result of high morale, experience and understanding of the matter and it was on the basis of these attributes that the Quraysh appointed you to the post of diplomat.

 He would become an ambassador and solve this problem with his extraordinary understanding and experience.

Omar was twenty-seven years old when the sun of Islam shone in the Arabian desert and the voice of Tawheed was heard from the valleys of Makkah. Becoming his enemy, a slave girl of his family named Basina had become a Muslim.

They used to beat him so much that they got tired of beating him. It was not something that went up and down
